Our polyester bases are printed using dye sublimation, a process where the design is dyed directly into the fabric, ensuring a smooth finish with no added texture. For our natural fiber bases, we use an eco-friendly pigment printing method that saves over dozens of gallons of water per yard compared to traditional natural fiber printing methods used in China. This process uses organic, certified inks and is rapidly becoming one of the most popular techniques for fabric printing.
Pigment printing is a versatile method that applies fine particles of color directly to the fabric using precision print heads, delivering vibrant and detailed designs. However, since the fabric is not dyed, there may be a noticeable handfeel difference with heavy coverage designs. For the best results with dark or saturated designs, we recommend choosing a polyester base.

Please note the premium cotton spandex is a more structured base than the regular cotton spandex, which feels more like a cotton t shirt. We recommend ordering a sample pack so you can see and feel the difference of each base before purchasing.
Make sure to care for your fabrics correctly to maintain their vibrant colors and maximize longevity, particularly with our bamboo base fabric. As this delicate fiber is particularly prone to damage, keep your fabric in great shape by avoiding bleach and fabric softener. With careful handling, our bamboo fabric will remain strong and vibrant. For ideal results, machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle using a phosphate-free detergent and hang or tumble dry on the lowest possible heat setting. For finished products, turn them inside out before washing.
